Hotel City Maribor

The seafood was really good and the terrace restaurant offered fine views. The bed felt quite worn down.

its location is stunning & lovely, near the central areas, old center and all shops. a standard twin room has basic facilities you need.

Clean, brand-new hotel with very attentive staff. Really nice beds, a writing table, a safe box, and coffee in the room. Excellent and perfect location, at a medium distance from Ljudski Vrt Stadium. Simply no reason to complain, very pleasant stay...

The stay was enjoyable, especially due to the breakfast at the rooftop restaurant which offered beautiful views and a variety of fresh options. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like the Maribor Water Tower and Old Bridge, all within a short walk. The mattress in my room needed replacing, as it felt worn out. I appreciated the spacious room and the convenience of having a garage for parking.

Its location just a pleasant stroll away from Town Hall was great and lovely. Cereals, pastries and fruit at the terrace were excellent!

Everything is new because this hotel opened 3months before.All staffs are very kind and I could stay comfortably.

The breakfast offered a good variety of fresh options and the rooftop terrace dining gave us a fine view of the river Drava.

The staff were very friendly - despite the difficult conditions. They were trying very hard to make the best of a bad situation. The restaurant is in a beautiful location overlooking the River Drava - it is the hotel's best feature.

The stay was awful - there are road works which make it difficult to approach. There was no air conditioning, the tv stopped working , the hot water went off and then the electricity. They say they are testing the facilities but it would have been good if some of them had worked! I have never checked out of a hotel early before - but I transferred after two nights because the heat was unbearable. Also despite the difficulties, the hotel offered no discount for the inconvenience (and yes I did ask when I checked out).

Upper floors had very difficult wlan connection, but cable connection available. Too light walls between the rooms

Room lighting left much to be desired!!! It's hard to find a good spot to read without straining your eyes.

The hotel still struggles with technical issues for which the managment has appologised formally e.g. air condition did not work during our 4 day stay, W-LAN in hotel room only worked temporarily etc. Hotel stuff friendly and helpful but not very experienced.

Fairly clean and CHIC hotel, favourable and absolutely perfect location amazing in such an apparently-state of the art. Functional, generous sized rooms provided with a great view, extremly cool bathroom. Location very close to Drava river promenade and the nice buildings, center of Maribor and the banks of the river. For tea or coffee visit Cantante Cafe nearby.

Air conditioning in the room was too hot (stuck at 26 degrees) and the tv did not work properly.

The lift and floor plan for each floor is confusing, major roadworks outside main entrance including footpaths causes slight detour but when they are finished should be ok
